Assassin's Creed Introduces Bizarre Attack on Titan Collaboration for Thanksgiving
In a bizarre collaboration that challenges conventional expectations, Ubisoft has revealed an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering free extra story content for Shadows players.

According to the authorized announcement, "A strange meeting pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where hints of prohibited rituals and fearsome changes echo through the darkness." The plot introduces a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a clandestine cult.
The adventure centers on "strange trials and a terrifying adversary" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Changes
The teaser highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview finishes with a striking moment showing a character, presumably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Items and Extra Material
Players who finish the adventure will obtain an special katana in addition to numerous items secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
