I will overwhelm 'serious boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Former two time unified boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I will damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."

Civil Exchange

In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.

He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.

"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly happening.
